Carhartt WIP reinvents the Converse One Star, mixing military inspiration with contemporary design
Carhartt WIP adapts the iconic work clothes of Carhartt in this second collaboration between the two brands.
The collaboration Converse x Carhartt WIP has been created with the same premise merging functionality with contemporary design to create three new editions of the iconic silhouette Converse One Star. This collaboration Converse x Carhartt WIP has been devised from the common background that both brands They have in their ideology and thanks to their distinct and versatile aesthetics.
Inspired by military details, the collection shows how the foundations of fashion and culture can evolve and continue to be important, while at the same time highlighting the overlap between work clothes and street clothes that has always existed.
The three One Star silhouettes have an upper part of Cordura® fabric with a ring on the heel. On the other hand, the logo patch on the tongue is made of the same canvas material that is used on the covers of the long-distance truck's trailer. Presented in three colorways combinations, classic black, olive green and optical white, these sneakers are functional and robust, but also impeccable in their design.
