In 1854 in a small town in Connecticut was born what will be one of the largest American manufactures by the hand of Benedict & Buruham who three years later create the Waterbury Clock Company and is that the Naugatuck Valley in Connecticut was known in the century XIX as "The Switzerland of America".

The Waterbury Watch was the creator of the first cheap pocket watch in 1880 that became very popular during the First World War.
It was during the Second World War that it adopted the name U.S.Time Company until in 1950 they launched their first model named Timex, which was a cheap watch that appeared to be much more expensive.
Since then, at Timex, highlights the durability and beauty of its watches.
